Lose Weight Permanently – Why Did I Opt For Surgery Even Though I Was 100% Healthy & Fit?
Last year when I opted for surgery to lose weight – I think everyone was shocked and surprised. People were surprised because I was a guy who was hyper into bodybuilding, marathon running, swimming, triathlon and fitness. I was someone who loved being super active and super hyper. But then one find day out of the blue – I stopped doing exercise completely, I stopped being hyper active, and I completely became focused on work.
And that had a price to pay.
Once I stopped – well guess what happened…
I put on weight and I am talking about serious weight to the point walking a flight of stairs or even doing any physical work proved to be a horrible chore. And then the problems related to weight gain shot in – my joints started to ache, breathing became difficult, sleep became a challenge, and when I got myself tested – I found out that my blood sugar, my cholesterol and my blood pressure were all climbing high steadily.
So now I had to decide – did I want to once again go through the rigors of doing exercise and losing weight like a yo-yo lifestyle or was it time to have a solution permanently?
